the hand — 03 / 04
editorial & print
Design for physical things — books, catalogues, packaging, reports — drawn, typeset and prepared so they come back from the printer right the first time.
what it is
This is the craft side of the studio: grids and typography, paper and print finishing, and the discipline of preparing files that survive production. It runs from the first content review to standing next to the press on the day it prints.
Everything is designed to be felt in the hand — the weight of a cover, the turn of a page, the open of a box — not just seen on a screen.
